Allāh distinguishes people, one from another, not through colour, race, gender, family lineage, social status, wealth or education but through one’s belief and actions.
Through the Qurʾān and the Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ , Allāh has explained to us what we need to believe and what actions those beliefs should produce. The belief system of Islām is known as Īmān or the more general term, ʿAqīdah.
This section, therefore, covers the most essential matters relating to the beliefs Allāh orders every person to hold in his heart without doubt. In order to achieve this, I have set up a number of sections which explain the meaning of ʿAqīdah, its importance, the principles which regulate it, its fundamental pillars and what they mean and imply and those matters which can nullify and destroy one’s belief and land him in the Fire for eternity.
I ask Allāh to ingrain in us all the correct belief and creed which pleases Him alone, without any corruption or deviation. I ask Allāh to cause this belief in Him to produce righteous actions for Him alone.
